Band leader randy Muller until the age of 11 resided in his home country of British Guyana which is responsible for Brass Constructions carnival vibe. As with B.T. Express the sound is based on a strong flowing grooves and horn drenched sounds that was Randys trademark. Brass Construction were one of the premier funk bands of the era and stayed true to the sound until they finally like so many others were pressured into Disco in the late 70's. The early records "Brass Construction" and "Brass Construction II" are two quintessential funk albums of the time, a testimony to Mullers true funk genius. Muller then went on to form Skyy with the three Dunning sisters.
