Pee Wee Ellis played on many of James Brown's greatest hits in the '60s and '70s, and also served for a time as his band director. He recorded one album (1992's Blues Mission) for Gramavision, then several for the Minor label. He plays several saxophones, but is most noted for his baritone and alto work. He's also done many sessions. Ron Wynn | ||
